Bio

Stuart McKeownHailing from Belfast, and at only 23; Stuart has been DJing for 8 years. Being heavily influenced in the early days by Northern Exposure & Leftfield, Stuart has continued to mould his style of music far from what any of his peers could ever have imagined.

Growing up in a city not at all fuelled by the Electronic Music scene, Stuart was more intrigued to explore to find a more diverse sound that not only combined ambience but also had a tough gritty edge to it aswell. This lead him down the paths of many genres; experimenting in everything from Progressive House right through to Minimal House and Ambient IDM.

Stuart’s sets have appeared everywhere, his most successful to date was a Featured Artist Mix on Proton Radio. This opened up doors to a few fans in Australia who in turn invited him out to sample an Upside Down Lifestyle. His Ambient sets have also stirred up some attention, getting praise from all around the world.

Stuart has since spent a year DJing & Producing in Australia, and has etched his own mark in Melbourne. Whether it’s with his wierd minimal glitchy DJ sets or his new Productions.

With Productions now being featured in sets & mixes of some Top DJ’s Stuart is starting to see that hard work does indeed pay off and many of you will be hearing a lot more about Stuart over the next few years I guarantee you that.
